About Silver and Stones

My name is Judy Goodwin, and I am the creator of Silver & Stones Jewelry by Judy.

It all started when I took a jewelry making class at Appalachian State University, in Boone, North Carolina, and fell in love with the art of creating beautiful unique jewelry. I started making jewelry as gifts for my family and friends, but, everywhere I went, people were asking about where I acquired what I was wearing. When I told them that I made it, they wanted me to make them something. So Silver & Stones was created.

My husband, Paul, designs and crafts necklaces from natural stones and sterling silver beads to create distinctive designs that have proven to be quite popular everywhere we go. I craft the wire wrapping of stones, creating earrings, pendants, and one of a kind wire wrapped designs using natural stones, sterling silver, copper, and brass. The results become unique jewelry that can be worn everyday, complimenting casual, semi-formal and formal occasions.

Paul and I go to several festivals a year in addition to having items displayed locally in several venues. Every stone used in our jewelry, is hand selected. Our commitment to providing beautiful jewelry is our top priority.
